Meet Mark

Mark has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and founded Butterworth Financial Group in 2002. His professional designations include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant®.

He serves business owners, professionals, retirees, families and nonprofits by providing comprehensive financial planning advisory services with a focus on investment and retirement planning. He also has extensive knowledge in tax planning, employee benefits, estate planning and insurance.

The prestigious CFP® certification is one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. Mark is dedicated to helping his clients work toward their financial goals by guiding them through the investment planning process set forth by the CFP Board of Standards.

Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tulsa, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He lives in Tulsa with his wife, Susie.

Active in his church and community, Mark serves as chair of the Cascia Hall Preparatory School Foundation, board member of the Midwest Augustinian Trust (Chicago) and is a past president of the alumni board for the University of Tulsa. As a former college basketball player, Mark also enjoys giving back by coaching young people in the sport he loves. In his free time, he enjoys traveling.
